Green Week 2017 – Call for partner events

The dates are set for the EU Green Week 2017, Europe’s leading environment event. From 29 May to 2 June 2017, EU Green Week will take place in Brussels and across Europe. The theme for this year is Green Jobs for a Greener Future.

Are you organising an event on this in May or June? You can register it as an EU Green Week partner event.

A resource-efficient, green, low-carbon economy offers immense opportunities for job creation and growth. Innovation and investments in environmental goods and services drive employment, encourage efficiency and create a competitive advantage. To realise the transition to a green economy, Europe needs a workforce of ambitious, innovative and skilled professionals.

The EU Green Week is the opportunity to show that your organisation is part of this transition towards a green economy. Are you planning an event on jobs, growth, education, skills or career development in May or June, or would you like to organise one? You are invited to register it as a partner event
on the Green Week website. Any type of event is eligible, be it a job or career fair, workshop, presentation, training, educational course or online event and so on. Green job fairs or career fairs organised during the month of July will also be eligible.

Why take part?

Your EU Green Week partner event helps you gain visibility, attract media attention and find partners. You will receive European Commission branding to show that you are part of Europe’s leading environment event.

Are you an actor in a job sector? Are you offering green jobs or helping people find one?

If so, make your business visible by placing it on the Green Week 2017 website map! http://www.eugreenweek.eu/green-jobs-eu
