Accreditation for the International Conference: Transition to the green economy

Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic organizes under the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU a flagship event which will take place on 6-7 September in Hotel Saffron, Bratislava. Among others, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič and Commissioner for the Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Karmenu Vella accepted the invitation of Slovak Minister László Sólymos. The list of speakers also includes the Dutch Minister of Environment Sharon Dijksma, Norwegian Minister for Climate Change and Environment Vidar Helgesen, several high representatives of international organizations such as OECD, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the European Environment Agency, and other relevant representatives of international financial institutions, businesses, regional governments, civil society and academic community.

The conference will create a space to discuss key issues and possible sources of financing in this segment. Accompanying activities during the event are dedicated to the presentation of examples of innovative solutions and approaches from Slovakia and other European countries, and international organizations.

On the first day, 6 September, a press conference will be held in Hotel Saffron. The accreditation is required. The media must send their application for accreditation to: hovorca@enviro.gov.sk until 26 August. It is necessary to indicate your name, surname, the name of the editorial office, work position, date of birth and identity card number.
