Revision of the EU emission trading system and chemicals in the environment dominate the agenda of the last Environment Council

Another success of climate diplomacy: greenhouse gas reduction agreement under the Montreal Protocol

The adoption of the Appendix to the Montreal Protocol on reducing fluorinated greenhouse gases (HFC) successfully concluded the 28th meeting of the parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (10–14 October 2016, Kigali, Rwanda). A Flagship event of the ME has been launched in Bratislava within the Slovak presidency of the Council of the European Union

Accreditation for the International Conference: Transition to the green economy

Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic organizes under the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU a flagship event which will take place on 6-7 September in Hotel Saffron, Bratislava. Minister László Sólymos presented the priorities of the environmental department during the Slovak Presidency

The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak republic wants to significantly contribute to the effectiveness of environmental and climate policies at a European level and to lead the Member States of the EU on global negotiations. This was said by the head of environmental department, László Sólymos, during today's (July 1) performance on a cluster dedicated to energy and climate policies, transport and natural resources. The cluster is part of the visitor program to the College of the European Commission in Bratislava. More
